At Roegate, we recognise that private equity firms and management teams normally have all of the expertise they need to drive forward the businesses they are growing. At the same time, experience as leaders in such businesses has led us to know that there are moments when that expertise needs to be enhanced. These moments typically come at defining stages for an investment such as initial due diligence, setting up a buy and build strategy, establishing a significant transformation programme and through the exit process. At such moments, investors often value an operator's view of a market or business and management can often benefit from an experienced operator to help them through a process that they may not have been through before.
